Your Google Meet calls will be a little more fun

Google recently announced that it will be rolling out new updates to Google Meet, which include tweaks to the user interface and some interesting new features. While the company did not specify the release date for these new features, it did say that they will be rolling out to users around the world in the coming months.

The app’s calling interface now has a different look and feel that makes it easier for users to initiate or answer calls, and Google adds that the mobile app now has a redesigned layout and access to new features including live captions, over 70 languages, as well as real-time chat built right into video calls. People can also stack effects like filters, backgrounds, and props, and even use one-tap emoji reactions during calls.
