David Corenswet has grown tremendously in popularity since he was cast as the DC Universe’s first hero: Superman. However, while the Internet was erupting in celebration, the actor was busy playing a supporting role in TornadoesHowever, the cast of the project wasn’t going to let it slip away without fanfare, creating a heartwarming video celebrating the news during production.
Although David Corenswet did not have the most important role in TornadoesHe certainly stole the hearts of fans every time he was on screen, despite his role as a “villain.” It’s clear that he stole the hearts of the cast as well, as it’s clear that the group is genuinely excited for their co-star to land the role of Superman in the DC Universe. The cast wasn’t the only one celebrating David Corenswet landing the role of Superman. During the press tour to promote TornadoesThe film’s director, Lee Isaac Chung, spoke about landing the role of Corenswet at DC Universe, revealing that he had been auditioning throughout production. However, when he saw a certain smile, he knew the actor had landed the coveted role of the Man of Steel.
“I was doing some auditions for Superman while we were filming,” Chung said. The Hollywood Reporter“David is the kind of actor who keeps a bit of his character inside him while he works during the day.”
“It’s not a complete method, but it has a bit of that. [character’s] “I gave him a new character. And when he came back from auditions in Los Angeles, he came back as Superman. I saw Clark Kent in the way he smiled at me and the way he talked to me, and I realized he reminded me of that audition.”
