Is David Corenswet the perfect Man of Steel? A new trading card shows a stunning new image of the DC Universe star Superman!
Collectibles have been intertwined with the DC Universe since it was first forged. It looks like David Corenswet will be keeping that spirit alive in the production of Superman It’s coming to an end! A new trading card has been released featuring the actor in the now iconic suit, providing a new look at his version of the Man of Steel.
While it may just be the lighting, David Corenswet’s suit is a much darker shade on the trading card compared to the set photos. Could it be possible that the film’s color grading is more subdued than fans were expecting for the DC Universe? It’s also hard to tell much about Corenswet sporting Superman’s iconic curl in the photo!
David Corenswet visits the Marvel Universe
It seems David Corenswet’s charm isn’t limited to one trading card. In fact, it’s infecting other franchises! The Marvel and DC universes collide in a new photo that shows the Man of Steel enjoying a much-needed meal with Danny Ramirez, who plays Falcon in Captain America: Brave New WorldRamírez previously shared the screen with the Superman star in the Netflix original Look both ways.
While this probably doesn’t mean anything when it comes to Marvel characters coming to the DC Universe, it really goes to show that Superman has wrapped production. More images of David Corenswet’s take on the Man of Steel than a trading card are likely to surface in the coming months. Let’s just hope they’re not as cheesy as that photo!
