Quentin Tarantino has “no desire” to look Toy Story 4.
The acclaimed director thought that the three previous installments in From Pixar The animated series were great, but Tarantino is now “done” with the franchise and that’s why there won’t be a fourth or upcoming fifth film in the series.
During an appearance on the Random Club with Bill Maher podcast, Tarantino said: “I don’t watch all the animated movies and stuff, but I’m a big fan of the History of the toy trilogy.”
Tarantino loved the third film in the lucrative franchise, but insisted the series should not continue.
He shared: “The third one is just magnificent. It’s one of the best movies I’ve ever seen. And if you’ve seen the other two, it’s just devastating. But the problem is, then three years later or something, they made a fourth one and I have no desire to see it. They literally finished the story as perfectly as they could, so no, I don’t care if it’s good. I’m done.”

He Kill Bill The filmmaker then compared the animated films to Clint Eastwood’s spaghetti westerns, which Tarantino said were the only film trilogy that worked “to the nth degree.”
He explained: “I think there is only one trilogy that works completely and absolutely to the nth degree and that is A handful of dollars, For a few dollars moreand The good, the bad and the ugly.“
He Django Unchained The director added that the trilogy worked so well because each installment was able to build on its predecessor and conclude the overall story effectively.
He said: “It does what no other trilogy has been able to do. The first movie is great, but the second one is so great and takes the whole idea to such a big canvas that it dwarfs the first one. And then the third one does the same thing to the second one, and that’s something that never happens. You’ll see a big jump from the first one to the second one and they don’t really manage to do the third one.”
