Prince William and King Charles Apparently they don’t always see eye to eye… with a new book claiming they’ve had some major arguments… over a helicopter.
In an excerpt from “Catherine, Princess of Wales,” obtained by The Daily MailBiographer Robert Jobson says Charles criticised his eldest son for using his helicopter with his wife. Kate Middleton and their three children.
In fact, Charles was so concerned about all the flights, Jobson says, that he demanded that William sign a formal document acknowledging the risks and taking responsibility for his actions — which wasn’t exactly a warm moment of father-son bonding.
Apparently, the King of England was simply imitating the deceased… Queen Elizabeth II …who Jobson said regularly expressed his displeasure with Will, who flew Kate Middleton and their children 115 miles from Kensington Palace to his Anmer Hall mansion.
The book claims KC first expressed frustration with PW after he was diagnosed with cancer in February… and Jobson implied he’s especially worried about what might happen to William given his own mortality.
By the way… William and Charles are apparently no strangers to father-son conflict… and Jobson claims that Middleton often acts as a stabilizing force in their relationship.
