Here is some really great news and not fake: Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter are heading to Broadway together.

Instead, Reeves and Winter, longtime friends and co-stars, will appear together in a new Broadway production of Samuel Beckett’s classic play. Waiting for Godot.
According to an interview with The New York TimesDirector of the new production, Jamie Lloyd, said it was all Reeves’ idea, adding that “their instant chemistry, their shorthand and their friendship will be invaluable.”
Lloyd also called the idea a “no-brainer” that “had to be put into practice.”

Reeves and Winter have been closely associated with each other since the original. Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure of 1989. The film became a surprise hit that started a franchise. The first sequel, Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journeyreleased to rave reviews in 1991.
Decades later, long after Reeves had become a huge star thanks to films like Speed, Matrixand John Wickreunited with Winter for a second sequel, in 2020. Bill and Ted Face the consequences. While the main premise of the original films was that Bill (Winter) and Ted (Reeves) were slightly dimwitted teenagers who wanted to be rock stars, this latest sequel, about both now middle-aged and with daughters of their own, was a surprisingly touching and sweet comedy about aging.
Your version of Godot Reeves will reportedly play Estragon and Winter will play Vladimir, waiting for the title character, who never makes it to the stage.
