This is your brain under the influence of drugsThese are two brains that have gotten out of control when it comes to identity politics.
A 2019 tweet by Kamala Harris about the alleged assault of actor Jussie Smollett speaks to their mutual facilitation as users.
.@JussieSmollett He is one of the kindest and gentlest human beings I know. I am praying for his speedy recovery.
This was a modern-day lynching attempt. No one should have to fear for their life because of their sexuality or the colour of their skin. We must stand up to this hatred.

Harris suggested that she knew Smollett and that he suffered a “modern-day lynching.” She drank publicly from her ordeal.
Perhaps that post is still there to avoid the attention that removing it would attract.
Smollett’s “attack” on that cold Chicago night was fueled by his imagination, according to local police. The evidence led to his conviction five charges of disturbing public orderHe was convicted of paying for street performances and props simulating an assault. He also lied to the Chicago Police Department.
The judge reprimanded Smollett for causing social harm.
Of course, the media initially promoted deceptionfollowing the line of attack of “MAGA country.” Was believing a false narrative something new in Harris’s career, or was she prepared to draw false conclusions from acted-out scripts?
When the 1986 Howard University graduate took advantage of the Hastings Legal Educational Opportunity Program, did she believe in her background, which included being… Raised by university professorswas “adverse” among Americans as claimed by the program?
When Harris was a deputy district attorney in Oakland dating California State Assembly Speaker Willie Brown, Did she believe that of all the qualified professionals in California, she deserved two statewide appointments from Brown?
Brown has admitted to the facts of their relationship and acknowledged that it influenced Harris’s career path. Does Harris believe those resume-enhancing state government appointments were based on integrity, as she subsequently became San Francisco district attorney, jumped to California attorney general and glided into election as a California senator?
These examples reveal a mindset full of unrealities that are reinforced in her role. She amplifies the lies and the world is affected. more divided between like-minded tools accessing their power increases and everyone else.
There is rarely an easy way to help those mindsets see the truth. Even this summer, Smollett has stated:
Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and let everyone think you’re crazy, you’re shady, you’re a fraud, whatever they think. And then they’ll figure it out. They’ll figure it out because I can’t sit here forever trying to explain…
There are so many things on the opposite side that are trying to intentionally devalue us. We must be intentional about our blackness. We must be intentional about our queerness. We must be intentional about our black queerness.
Smollett says he will continue to explain what happened until we catch him, and Harris seems willing to believe everything the activist actor says.
Hoaxes set us back, whether it’s about street violence, “hate speech,” the legality of getting… Close your own businessa call “wage gap” or other incorrect addresses.
If there’s one difference between Smollett and Harris, it’s that federal law enforcement might spot something wrong if Harris committed the deception herself.
