Jay Mohr to Woke Comedy Club sponsors: ‘Beat It’

Jay Mohr is a survivor in more ways than one.

The veteran comic has given battle panic attacksa broadcast on “Saturday Night Live” and, more recently, a crippling addiction problem and he emerged victorious.

Still on tour, featured in new Daily Wire+ series “Mr. Birchum”and has more projects lined up according to his IMDB.com page.

That means he’s not going to let a few “offended” audience members stop him.

The comedian talked about his way of dealing with the woke mob in “The Ryan Schuiling Show” was heard on 630 KHOW in Denver.

Schuiling raised his comic partner Bill Burr’s broadside against liberal hypocrisyasking Mohr what he thinks about the club’s easily offended patrons.

Mohr did not hesitate in his response.

“They can only catch you if you really care,” Mohr began. “Almost subconsciously you can hear the crowd saying, ‘he’s hurt.’ Get him!’ “Once they start tracking you, they have you… I’m not up there saying racist things.”

The comedian admits that sometimes he has to think twice before sharing a certain joke or observation. After that, the game continues.

“I’ve modified what I say on stage and if anyone gets angry about what I say now, it’s ‘them’ problem, not ‘me’ problem,” he said. “I know where my heart is.”

“When you’ve been doing [comedy] Almost forty years… they are there specifically to see you. So the more you do comedy, the odds of that interference get lower and lower…they know what to expect, pretty much,” he said.

“Look, this is a comedy show. This is not the comments section on Instagram. Beat it. Go get lost. I’ll say, ‘Look, exit signs are lit for a reason, so you can find them in the dark when you’re drunk.’ Get lost.”
