The Galaxy Watch FE is turning out to be another interesting product in Samsung’s product portfolio, which has been in the news lately. While it is rumored to launch alongside the upcoming Galaxy foldables, new information suggests the launch could be earlier.
According to reliable tipster Arsène Lupine in X (via SamMobile), the Galaxy Watch FE will launch on June 24 just ahead of schedule July Unpacked Event where we will be witnessing the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Z Flip 6, along with the Galaxy Watch 7 series.
Meanwhile, another Amazon Italia listing spotted by YTECHB has revealed the price of the smartwatch, which is set at 199 euros (~$215). The price affirms that it belongs to the cheaper smartwatch segment or a basic Galaxy Watch, like the next one. Galaxy Watch 7 It will likely be priced at $299, considering the launch of the predecessor Galaxy Watch 6 last year.
Curiously, in the United States, the Galaxy Watch 6 It’s available for $239 on Samsung’s website, and the next Watch FE will likely be priced around $200. The new information follows the first look at the Galaxy Watch FE: the render of which emerged earlier this month, revealing its design and color combinations. The specifications of the upcoming smartwatch include a 1.2-inch AMOLED display with a dual-core Exynos W920 CPU clocked at 1.18 GHz underneath. The Fan Edition will likely have 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of built-in storage. It will be powered by WearOS with One UI 5.0 running on top of it.
The Galaxy Watch FE is expected to have a battery capacity of 247 mAh with the promise of a battery life of 30 hours on a single charge. It will also be water and dust resistant, with a rating of 5ATM and IP68. Lastly, the smartwatch is expected to be compatible with android phones It runs Android version 11 and above and also has at least 1.5 GB of RAM.
