Colbert calls CNN “objective” and laughter breaks out

You don’t watch “The Late Show” for anything resembling the truth.

CBS host Stephen Colbert has spread two major hoaxes in the past six years.

  • The Russian collusion story was true
  • President Joe Biden is of sound mind

This is just a sample of what is considered objectivity in the far left’s showcase.

It’s a bit like… CNN.

The news network is relentlessly liberal, attacking Republican figures like former President Donald Trump and beating around the bush whenever a Democrat appears on the channel.

The bias is off the charts.

And for one glorious moment, both Colbert and a CNN star realized that even their far-left audiences know about the scam.

CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins appeared on Monday’s “The Late Show” as eager to talk about Vice President Kamala Harris as the rest of her team. Corrupt corporate peersHowever, this exchange stopped her in her tracks. (Thanks to: Brent Baker/MRC)

“They haven’t been able to unite around a single line of attack,” Collins said of Trump’s campaign against Harris.

Colbert interrupted gently.

“I know you guys are objective there, just reporting the news as it is,” Colbert began before the audience erupted in laughter.

“Is that supposed to be a laugh line?” Collins asked, a sheepish smile spreading across his face.

“It shouldn’t be like this, but I guess it is,” Colbert said in a rising, whimsical voice.

They know it. Everyone knows it. It is a poorly disguised maneuver in which both parties pretend to tell the truth.

Colbert is the fearless comedian, the sharp-tongued satirist who holds the powerful accountable. Collins is part of a decades-old news organization, the one that gave birth to the 24-hour news cycle. Just the facts, ma’am.

They are both scammers and they don’t care if we know it. The checks keep getting cashed and the lights keep on.

Now, lying is more forgivable for a comedian like Colbert. He is a clown, a joker. We shouldn’t take him seriously, unless the corporate media routinely does so. Journalists rarely label Colbert or his far-left cohorts as “liberal” or “progressive.”

They’re just comedians. Wink-wink. The fact that They organize events to raise funds For a political party it means nothing.

CNN, which continues to have terrible ratings and could be absorbed by Max in the next few years, is supposedly a fair, honest and trustworthy news outlet.

Aim.

Even the New York liberals in Colbert’s audience found it hilarious.
