The friend in question is Aubree Knight, owner of the Aubree Knight, the beautifuland lounge in Los Angeles. The two were spotted enjoying a casual lunch together at Sweetgreen restaurant.
Normally, this would be nothing out of the ordinary. There was no public display of affection, and of course, Cameron is more than capable of having a friend of the opposite sex without anything happening.
The reason for the suspicion is the timing. Just that morning, Cameron informed his fans and the world that his marriage was over, without giving an answer as to why.

A ‘new chapter’ for Cameron

Now, that doesn’t mean they’re not in a relationship or that things can’t change in the future. But for now, the source says their relationship is “friendly.” So we’ll leave it at that.
But Cameron is now a free agent, free to find love with someone new if he so chooses.
“After 22 years of marriage, we have made the difficult decision to separate,” the couple announced in a joint statement. “We enter this new chapter with deep love, kindness and mutual respect. We hold gratitude in our hearts for the wonderful years we shared together.”
Friendly Exes
The reason for Cameron and Vanessa’s split remains unclear.
Cameron and Vanessa met in 1998, when they were both working as models in New York City. They began dating the following year and married on July 27, 2002.
In their statement, they assured their followers that they would remain “friends.” That’s good to know, considering there’s an entire family to consider.
Cameron and Vanessa share two children: son Lucas, 21, and daughter Leila, 18.
“Our children have been and will continue to be our top priority, and we will always share our devotion and love for them,” they said in their statement.
Divorce is never easy, even for older children, so it’s nice to know that they feel like they can still be friends.
