Feid started out as a composer and producer
The 31-year-old began his musical career behind the microphone as a songwriter and producer for many big artists such as J Balvin, Cristina Aguilera, Nicky Jamand more. Although he helped other artists release hit songs, he felt the need to explore the other side of the industry as a singer.
His musical influences date back to the 2000s.
The “Chorrito Pa Las Ánimas” singer has been very outspoken about the influences behind his beats and that goes back to the music of the early 2000s and mixes it with his urban style. Being from the 90s, a lot of the music he grew up with came from famous rappers like Notorious BIG – who shared that he was his favorite rapper in a recent interview with Complex – and being Latino, of course, he listened to reggaeton artists like Yandel.
Feid has an alter ego name
Ferxxo’s breakthrough moment, his alter ego name, came when he released “Que Raro” featuring J Balvin, which skyrocketed in the US. Billboard graphics.
Since then, the reggaeton singer, who is dating his compatriot Karol G, has released albums. Just as it sounds, 19, FERXXO (VOL 1: MORE), DUCATI BAY, INTER SHIBUTA – THE MAFIA, HAPPY BIRTHDAY FERXXO WE PIRATED YOUR ALBUM – this album was leaked before its release –, MOR, Don’t Be Afraid Of The Darknessand FERXXOCALIPSIS. He recently released a collaborative album with Yandel called DEMONSTRATE 20-05 -EP.
He embarked on a recent tour
In the past, the Colombian has done a couple of tours for his previous albums in small venues and eventually made it to stadiums. But just this year, in April, he embarked on his FERXXOCALYPSE US Tour — which began in Seattle, in various stadiums. He performed some of his greatest hits such as “Bubalu” with Remainder“Moon” with Jacob from Atlanta“Heaven” with Sky Breaking and Mike Towers“Elegant” with Young Mikoand more. Not only did he stop there, but he also brought out surprise artists like Ryan Castro, Arcangel, Yandel and many others, while his fans lit up in green, as that is his signature color.
The 360 stage will come to an end this Saturday, July 6 in Miami, when Feid will perform –on the last date of this tour– for the first time in a stadium. The artist, famous for wearing his green cap backwards and his Oakley sunglasses, will take the stage at the Hard Rock Stadium, which has a capacity of 65,326 people.
Feid reached a milestone
In addition to performing for the first time in a stadium, he recently opened the 2024 Copa América by bringing his good urban rhythms to the fans who are waiting to see the start of the first match at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium on June 20. Adding to the milestones, he did so as Billboard advertising cover History in March 2023.
