You’ll soon be able to play Xbox games on your Amazon Fire device

While companies like Google have given up on cloud-based AAA gaming altogether, it seems like industry veterans like Microsoft’s Xbox division have doubled down on their efforts to bring game streaming services to more gamers around the world. This time, however, Microsoft has turned to Amazon to bring Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to select Amazon devices.

More specifically, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will be available on Amazon TV Fire Stick 4K Max and Fire TV Stick 4K starting in July. This is probably the most affordable way to access the massive library of Xbox Game Pass titles, which includes games like The Senua Saga: Hellblade II, Starfield, and Forza Horizon 5, to name a few. The service will be available in more than 25 countries.

That said, players only need to install and launch the Xbox app from their Fire TV device and sign in with their Microsoft account to play. Additionally, wireless controllers such as the Xbox Wireless Controller, Xbox Adaptive Controller, PlayStation DualSense Controller, and DualShock 4 Controller will be supported by the app.
