TECNO pocket go
There are a couple of companies that have entered the portable gaming space. We’re talking about companies like Valve, Sony and ASUS, just to name a few. These devices are a type of all-in-one device that combines the controls with the screen in a single device. It’s meant to be compact and portable, but TECNO has taken the idea and put its own spin on it.
At Computex 2024, TECNO is showing the Pocket Go. The Pocket Go itself is a wearable PC that should be paired with the company’s AR Pocket Vision, a pair of augmented reality glasses. This means that instead of playing on a small screen, your field of view will essentially be your screen and you can enjoy games in a new, immersive way.
According to TECNO, the AR Pocket Vision features a pair of 0.71-inch micro OLED displays that provide the experience of watching a 215-inch TV from six meters away. The Pocket Go itself is no slouch. Under the hood, you can find an AMD Ryzen 7 8840HS CPU with clock speeds of up to 5.1 GHz.
It also features a huge cooling fan which, combined with its copper tubes, ensures the device stays nice and cool under heavy loads. It also comes with a replaceable 50Wh battery, something rare these days for built-in batteries.
TECNO Dynamic 1
TECNO may be a company that most of you are familiar with when it comes to smartphones. But that hasn’t stopped the company from trying new projects. One of those projects that TECNO is showing at Computex 2024 is the Dynamic 1 robotic dog.
The concept of robotic pets is not new. But the Dynamic 1 is a very different beast from other robotic dogs like Sony’s Aibo. According to TECNO, the Dynamic 1 has a torque of 45 Nm/kg. It has a sophisticated cooling system in the knee joints that allows the robot to imitate how a dog walks. You can climb stairs, bow, and shake hands.
The “face” of the Dynamic 1 also houses additional technology. This includes a headlamp that can illuminate your path. Additionally, there are four microphones and supports voice recognition that is based on AI to make interaction more responsive and intuitive.
It also comes with an Intel RealSense D430 depth camera, dual optical sensors, and infrared sensors to help you navigate and avoid obstacles. TECNO has designed the Dynamic 1 with modularity in mind. Its battery can be removed and replaced with another if you want to reduce overall downtime.
TECNO MEGABOOK T16 PRO 2024 Ultra
Last but not least, TECNO is also using its time at Computex 2024 to showcase other non-smartphone related products. This comes in the form of the MEGABOOK T16 PRO 2024 Ultra laptop.
If you’re looking for a laptop with incredible battery life, this could be it. The MEGABOOK T16 Pro 2024 Ultra has a battery life of up to 22 hours! Honestly, that’s pretty amazing, meaning that for normal use, you should be able to squeeze out more than a day’s worth. It also comes with 100W GaN charging so you can quickly recharge it if necessary.
The laptop features a 2.5K glass display and a brightness of up to 400 nits. Seeing that AI is in trend these days, TECNO has included several AI-related features. This includes things like gaze correction, a built-in teleprompter, and background blurring, useful if you host a lot of video conferences.
AI is even used for noise cancellation which will make your voice sound clearer. For those who want to enjoy their music and videos on the go, the laptop is equipped with 3D surround sound with 120% higher volume. TECNO has also paid attention to the small details, such as the keyboard, where it has switches that offer 1.5 mm of travel for a more comfortable typing experience.
The MEGABOOK T16 Pro 2024 Ultra is also not short when it comes to ports. There are a total of 9 connectivity options including a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB ports, and a TF card slot that will allow users to expand their overall storage.
