The seventh edition of Animation is cinema. (AIF), a Los Angeles-based sister event to the prestigious French event Annecy Animation Festivalwill run October 18-20 at TCL Chinese 6 Theaters in Hollywood this fall.

Previous editions of AIF have also showcased eventual Academy Award winners and contenders, including Guillermo del Toro’s “Pinocchio,” “The Breadwinner,” “Mirai” and “I Lost My Body,” as well as a special screening of the Oscar-winning short film. “Hair Love,” an in-progress look at Disney’s eventual Oscar winner “Encanto.”
