With the exception of his classic sports films like ‘Durham Bull‘,’Field of dreams‘, ‘tin cup‘ and ‘Draft Day,’ Oscar-winning actor and director Kevin Costner He is probably best known for making western films, both on television and the big screen.
One of his first film roles was in the classic western ‘Silverado‘, and would later go on to win the Oscar.Dancing with Wolves‘, which earned him an Oscar for Best Director. He has appeared in other westerns over the years such as ‘Wyatt Earp‘,’Open range‘ and ‘I let it go,’ but he is perhaps best known to television audiences as John Dutton III in ‘Yellowstone‘.
While Costner officially left the popular series, fans can see him riding horses once again in ‘Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1,’ which he also directed and will be released in theaters on June 28.
In addition, Costner has three sequels planned for ‘Horizon’, with ‘Episode 2‘ now finished and scheduled for release on August 16. ‘Chapter 3‘ began filming earlier this year, and ‘Chapter 4‘ is still in development.
