When an oppressed janitor, Winston Goze (Dinklage), is exposed to a catastrophic toxic accident, becomes a new type of hero: toxic Avenger.
Now, Toxie must rise from outcast to Savior, assuming ruthless corporate offspring and corrupt forces that threaten their son, his friends and his community. In a world where greed runs rampant … Justice is better radioactive.

Lloyd KaufmanThe head of Troma Studios, who created the original Toxie (for the 1984 film), talked about the challenges of fighting censors about what was allowed.
He recalled that the MPAA forced the company to cut 20 minutes from the original. But, as he reveals:
“Eventually, people could obtain the director's cut with the complete clash.”
That film generated a franchise and a worship follow -up, and now, it has led to this new shot, which Kaufman happily supports.

'The Toxic Avenger': the director and the stars speak

The director Macon Blair and the cast were glad to anticipate the release of the film after worrying that he does not see screens at all.
Blair said he wanted to capture the spirit of the original film without matching his plot of rhythm for the rhythm, so he knew that violence had to have the goodness he expected, but he also wanted to match what he saw as the warm nature of the first film.
For Dinklage, his first exposure to Toxie was through a Betamax video in a friend's house, joking that “there is always an older brother!” He was persuaded to assume the role due to his appreciation for Blair's cinematographic style and the film's environmental message.
And he revealed that more than 70% of his performance “more than 70% of my performance” is due to actor Luisa Guerreiro, who used the suit and full -body makeup once Winston becomes the toxic Avenger.
This is what Dinklage had to say:
“That was a real exercise of trust, to give up something that was important to me. She makes me better than me.”

He admitted that he loved how this 'toxic avenger' is filled to the edge with ideas and fun and playing with the environment. But he highlighted the story of father-son between Dinklage and Jacob TremblayThe characters as plants for the charm of the film.
Finally, Blair discussed what had been added to the film since its premiere in Fantastic Fest in 2023. But he had to speak in some way for family panel requirements:
“We really add only a VFX taking. I think this is a multitude of all ages. It implies a representation of a part of the body and that will be added to the theatrical launch. I think it will notice.”
