  • Denzel Washington says he has “few movies” left that interest him.
  • He may choose to retire from acting and focus on directing.
  • That said, we still have ‘Gladiator II’ and Spike Lee’s ‘High & Low’ left.

Is Denzel Washington Is he looking to pull back the curtain on his time in front of the camera? He’s certainly hinting at that.

In A new interview with EmpireWashington stressed the fact that “there are very few films left to be made that interest me, and I have to be inspired by the filmmaker.”

All of which points to the fact that she’s starting to feel like she’s said all she can on camera and isn’t looking to maintain that aspect of her career forever.

Of course, actors (and directors) talk about retirement, but they often return to work – for each Gene Hackman (who has not acted in years), there is a Steven Soderbergh (who announced that he would stop directing films, but soon returned).
