OJ Simpson lives on… in the form of jewelry containing his ashes.
Malcolm LaVergne — OJ’s longtime attorney and now executor of his estate — told TMZ that… Juice’s remains have been transformed into cremation jewelry, which was divided among his four adult children.
Simpson was cremated In April, after his death, we were told that his children had given their consent for their father’s ashes to be made into a variety of jewellery. As executor, Malcolm also had to give his written consent to the process.
Malcolm would not say exactly what kind of jewelry the children received, but they are typically necklaces or bracelets with miniature urns as pendants.
Malcolm says he didn’t receive any of the jewelry, he just wasn’t interested and it’s all being split up between Arnelle, Jason, Sydney and Justin Simpson.
So how much does this kind of process cost? Malcolm says the final total was $4,243.06, which included the cost of cremation, jewelry and death certificates.
As we reported at the beginning, Malcolm is trying to liquidate most, if not all, of OJ’s assets to pay off the mountain of debt he left behind, including tens of millions still owed to the Goldman family.
