YG organizes a peace march between rival gangs and takes them to a burger joint

YG‘They’re making peace over a hearty meal… organizing a hike to end years of conflict between rival Compton gangs… and breaking bread, or in this case, buns.

The rapper led Sunday’s truce and walk… joined by members of the Treetop Pirus and Fruit Town Pirus gangs, family members and children as they traveled through the streets of Compton.

During the walk, YG stopped for a bite to eat at Tam’s Burgers… bringing the entire group together in the small shop with loud music playing and the rapper even showing off some of his dance moves.

In fact, YG bought some food at the store… and he wasn’t the only one: many protesters ate alongside the rapper.

The walk began at Gonzales Park, a local hangout, where YG posed for photos… with different attendees coming in and out of the frame to snap a photo with the star.

One of YG’s famous friends, The gameHe also showed up to support YG’s event… taking photos under a leafy tree to protect himself from the LA heat.

We’re told this was more than just a symbolic gesture… with YG helping to facilitate long-term dialogue between the two sides, recently persuading both sides to sit down at the negotiating table.
