OnePlus has announced U120P01 and U120P02, its new series of monthly software updates that will be incorporated into the regular system updates for OnePlus devices.
OnePlus claims that this update will “enhance your experience by introducing OnePlus-developed apps along with a variety of new features.” The brand also said that with this update, users can enjoy the latest improvements and enhancements by skipping the usual OTA rollout process.

This update has version numbers U120P01(BRB1EX01) and U120P02(BRB1EX01) for smartphones and U120P01(BRB3EX01) and U120P02(BRB3EX01) for tablets. It improves system stability and optimizes the unit converter interface in the Calculator app. You can refer to the image below for the list of devices eligible for this new series of updates.
OnePlus began rolling out this update gradually on August 2. A broader rollout will begin in the coming days and the update will reach all users around September 6.
OnePlus said that users in Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, and Singapore are eligible for the new series of updates. Users in many Middle Eastern countries, including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Qatar, will also receive the new update.
If you live in these regions and own an eligible device but have not received an update notification, you can check for the update manually by going to your device’s website. Settings > About the device menu.
