OnePlus has launched the OnePlus Open Apex Edition in a new Crimson Shadow colour in India. This new edition joins the Emerald Dusk and Voyager Black variants of the OnePlus Open.

So, the OnePlus Open Apex Edition in Crimson Shadow comes with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. It is priced at Rs. 1,49,999. The phone will be available starting August 10. OnePlus.esAmazon.in, OnePlus Experience Stores and partner stores like Reliance Digital, Bajaj, Croma and Vijay Sales.

Additionally, the Crimson Shadow edition has a vegan leather back like the Voyager Black version. This design pays homage to the Hasselblad 503CW 60 Years Victor Red Edition. The phone has a diamond-shaped pattern, an orange detail on the alert slider, and a light-reflecting CD pattern on the camera dial in a glass dome. Other features are similar to the original OnePlus Open.
Security improvements
Additionally, the OnePlus Open Apex Edition is packed with robust security features. It includes a separate security chip that provides isolated storage and protection for important files and personal information. This chip is certified to high security standards (CC EAL5+ and CC EAL6+). The phone also includes a VIP mode. Additionally, this mode can be activated using the alert slider, which locks the security chip and disables all microphones and cameras for complete privacy.
