Even more information about Google’s Pixel Watch 3 has come to light, and this time it includes some of the latest features.
Those over there Android Headlines received an alleged batch of promotional material for the Pixel Watch 3, which may have spoiled everything Google had planned. The publication’s source provided a comparison image between the Pixel Watch 3 and the Pixel Watch 2The photo suggests that the upcoming device features a 20% faster charging time for the 41mm variant only.
It will reportedly feature an Actua display with “up to” 2,000 nits of peak brightness compared to the 2023 version’s 1,000-nit AMOLED display. Google also appears to be pushing its battery life further with a “Battery Saver” mode, which supposedly extends power to around 36 hours before a charge.
Leaks continue to claim that the device will have 24 hours of battery life with AOD (always-on display) enabled. That was one of the drawbacks of the Pixel Watch and Pixel Watch 2, as users needed to charge it (at least) once a day.
Additionally, the image suggests that the Pixel Watch 3 will feature “Advanced Running Metrics.” The footage shown doesn’t explain this particular feature, however, a “Morning Brief” was shown. The leaked photo claims that Fitbit will “offer a summary of your most important health and fitness metrics.” The feature will also encourage users to push themselves the next day or slow down and rest.
“Cardio Load” is supposedly designed to monitor how hard your heart is working during exercise to notify you if you’re pushing it too hard or not hitting your pace.
Additionally, the post suggests that the Pixel Watch 3 will allow users to view their connected Nest Doorbell cameras from the device. idea Doing this is nothing new, as Wear OS 3 devices I was able to see a snapshot from your doorbell. However, Google could go further and enable live streams of a user’s Nest Cam or doorbell from the Pixel Watch 3.
Finally, the leak claims that Google could offer an Active band along with the appropriate charging cable/puck for the Pixel Watch 3 when purchased.
