Fantastic fourbetter known as Fantasticwill go down in history as perhaps the worst-received reboot of all time. It’s a film that all but ended any hope of Marvel’s First Family being redeemed on the big screen until the MCU picked up the rights and began production on its own version of the iconic superteam.
The MCU is also in an era of bringing back old heroes. From Hugh Jackman to Tobey Maguire, Marvel is going through a period of reflection. This has left some wondering if that reflection will extend to the Fantastic fourpotentially giving them a brief cameo to at least acknowledge their existence.
Could the Fant4Stic cast join the MCU?
Jamie Bell, who played Ben Grimm in the film, and Kate Mara, who played Sue Storm, recently sat down for an interview with Variety. His unfortunate Fantastic four Obviously, the reboot was a point of discussion. When asked if any of them would be willing to return to the MCU, Bell admitted that it’s not likely, even if it could be fun.
“I don’t think of it as a reboot because to reboot something, it has to have been something. Unfortunately, our movie doesn’t exist in any particular canon,” Bell explained. “It does exist in one particular canon, which is the not-very-good canon… Maybe we can try to get in through some door in the multiverse. But when they see us, they quickly close the door.”
It’s good to know that Jamie Bell and Kate Mara are at least in good spirits about their reboot failure. While it’s not likely that anyone from the Fantastic four They will return to the MCU, except for a brief cameo in which they die, but they are still an important piece of Marvel history, although it is not a very pretty piece.
