He would eventually face trial and be sentenced to life in prison (where he would die in 2015 at the age of 69).

But the most interesting thing about Parker’s death is the fact that the public reaction was completely different from Lebowitz’s. For example, the media paid very little attention to Parker’s case, especially compared to the avalanche of publicity that Lebowitz’s received. There was very little media coverage.
