As with any couple, there are times when the two of you may disagree, especially when it comes to what you wear when you go out. Take a look at the former Bachelor couple Joey Graziadei and his fiancée Kelsey Anderson who had a small disagreement when it came to dressing for an elegant dinner.
A TikTok video posted this week by the 25-year-old in which she is seen wearing a cute light blue-grey blouse and white pants went viral after she asked the 29-year-old, who was wearing a striped button-down shirt and khaki shorts, to change out of his Birkenstock sandals as they were heading out to a nice dinner. “Joey you’re not in Hawaii anymore. Please cage the dogs for dinner. PS I love you,” she captioned the post.
As the clip captures Joey walking down the stairs, Kelsey looks at him and says, “Are you wearing those shoes? See what I’m wearing? Let’s put on some different shoes.”
He Bachelor The hunk was taken aback by her request and politely told her, “Imagine if I told you that,” he asked, to which she replied, “You would never tell me that,” and shortly after he was sent off to change his shoes.
@kelseyalexandraan Joey, you’re not in Hawaii anymore. Please cage the dogs for dinner. PS: I love you.
Despite having to change shoes, she stood her ground, saying, “I’ll always stick with Birkenstocks!”
This clip caused many to have mixed opinions in the comments section on whether they agreed with Kelsey or not.
“Ooof! That sounded a bit condescending. Let the man wear Birks and go have a happy dinner together!” commented one user.
A second user added: “It’s summer… you can wear sandals of course. And they’re Birkenstocks, which are nice. Not like Nike Slides.”
“LEAVE JOEY AND HIS BIRKENSTOCKS ALONE,” a third user shared online.
While many disagreed, others understood what Kelsey meant and shared their thoughts on the matter.
“’You would never say that to me,’ that’s the mother,” one TikTok account commented.
Another user said: “Gentlemen, if you are going to eat INSIDE a nice restaurant, I don’t know what time of year it is, please wear closed-toe shoes.”
This post comes amid the revelation of their engagement earlier this year on season 28 of The Bachelor.
